Sometimes, taking the first step to seeing a psychologist can be the biggest hurdle.
What we know is that finding the right 'fit' with your psychologist is one of the most important things when it comes to therapy.
It’s my job to make sure you feel comfortable, heard and safe. If you want to connect, get in contact with me down below or book your appointment online here.
hi there
about me
My name is Phoebe and I’m a registered psychologist. Establishing a warm, nurturing therapeutic relationship is an important part of my practice. I will use our time together to listen deeply without judgment, collaborate with you on a plan to support your wellbeing and use our time together to work in only evidence-based treatment.
I have worked with adults and adolescents in both hospital and private practice settings. I really look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

my approach
I will work collaboratively with you on what’s important to you. It’s my job to help you on the path to feeling better, and it’s always my goal to help you to become more comfortable in understanding and expressing your needs. Through our sessions, I will be a support for you to build insight into the impact your background and history has on your life today.
A lot of people seek support through therapy when they are feeling distressed, but some people want to understand more about themselves and what will make their life most meaningful. I welcome the opportunity to work with you to provide relief from distress, but also to build deeper understanding of yourself and the impact of your past on your current experience.
education
It’s important that you know I’ve done the study and the training to be a competent therapist.
I completed both my Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours and Master of Applied Psychology at the University of Queensland.
I have pursued further training in Schema Therapy, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family & Systemic Therapy and Triple P Positive Parenting. I’m really excited to be adding Dialectical Behaviour Therapy into my repertoire later this year!
I am a board-approved supervisor and happy to talk further if you are seeking a supervisor for your practice.
I also hold an academic title at the University of Queensland's School of Psychology.
